Abstract "Continental Bridge Transportation", as a from of multimodel transport system, has been given much attention in many Countries in recent years. In our country, "The Siberian Continental Bridge" has played an important role in foreign trade transportation. In Septenber 1990, When a sectiono of China's Lanxin Railway line (the part from City Wulumu i to the pass of Mountain A La)was joined to the Friendship Railway of U. S. S. R; "the Second Eurasian Continental bridge" was inaugurated. Traversing the whole Eurasian Continent, It stretches from Lian yun Port of China at the east to Rotterdam, Holland at the west end. Not only will the new continental bridge provide many countries with a shortcut for freight transportation, but it will also promote the development of China's domestic and international trade.
